AB Catering sees several benefits with ChargePlan
AB Catering has not only been a first-mover in the green transition to electric; they have also been quick to see the advantages of ChargePlan.
AB Catering in Aalborg is among the first in Denmark to use electric trucks. Already in April 2023, the first Scania P25 distribution trucks rolled into the company's premises.
AB Catering has not only been a first-mover in the green transition to electric; they have also been quick to see the advantages of ChargePlan. At AB Catering, quality, delivery reliability, and customer satisfaction are crucial parameters for running a healthy business. Therefore, safety is also a significant concern when it comes to charging the vehicles.
For transportation manager Kim Christiansen, ChargePlan has provided valuable insights into how the vehicles charge and the issues that can arise. There have been several situations where he has been able to track if something goes wrong with the charging process. Especially the feature of alerting if the charging is not running optimally has proven to be indispensable.
"With ChargePlan, you have peace of mind and know that you start the day with a vehicle prepared for the day's tasks," says Kim. Kim also sees it as a clear advantage that you can charge when electricity is cheapest and that he can control the charging according to needs, whether the vehicle needs 80% or 100%. This is also crucial considering the season.
